Bleaching Tray

Indications

Used to deliver whitening agents evenly to the teeth for at-home or in-office bleaching treatments.

Contraindications

Active periodontal disease, caries, exposed dentin, or existing enamel defects
Patients with sensitivity, allergies to peroxide or tray materials
Restoration-heavy dentition with crowns or veneers not responsive to bleaching
Pregnant or lactating women and children under a certain age without consent

Limitations

Potential for gingival irritation or sensitivity depending on tray fit and gel concentration
Limited duration; requires periodic replacement or maintenance
No staining improvement on restorations (crowns, composites)

Preparation

Submit an intraoral scan of both arches. Godent uses a fully digital workflow—no stone models required. Tray design is based on captured gingival margins, occlusal anatomy, and recommended over-extension (approx. 2 mm beyond gingival zenith) to ensure seal and comfort.

Verification Steps

Internal digital QC to confirm tray fit margin profile, thickness consistency, and reservoir or dosing dot placement (if prescribed)
Check that tray covers target tooth surfaces without impinging soft tissue
Post-fabrication inspection for trimming, smooth edges, and surface integrity before shipping

Policies & Warranty

Godent provides a 1 year limited warranty covering material defects or manufacturing errors. If the tray fails due to lab error and is returned within the warranty period, a replacement will be issued free of charge. All digital scan and prescription data are securely stored to support efficient remakes or customized modifications in the future.
